Clomid improves the stimulation of developing follicles in the ovaries. Clomid will gradually raise testosterone levels over its period of intake. Clomid works by increasing levels of two hormones which cause stimulation of the ovaries and can help women with luteal phase defect. Some women have virtually no side effects.
